Will Smith Reacts To Jada Pinkett Smith’s Book Revelations

0

After Jada Pinkett Smith dropped a load of bombshells about her marriage, many were left wondering how Will Smith felt. Well, he has finally spoken.

Apparently, he somewhat spoke to the New York Times, after staying tight-lipped about Jada’s overspill.

According to TMZ, the actor is quoted in a new NYT interview that Jada did Saturday in plugging her new book. It appears to be the first outlet to get his reaction.

The Times says they got an email response from Will, who apparently told them Jada’s memoir “kind of woke him up.”

Then he goes on to paraphrase Will, that he’d realized she is more “resilient, clever and compassionate than he’d understood.”

“When you’ve been with someone for more than half of your life, a sort of emotional blindness sets in, and you can all too easily lose your sensitivity to their hidden nuances and subtle beauties,” Smith allegedly told the outlet.

Jada’s recent candidness, especially on her and Will, has ruffled many feathers. Many people have said she’s once again emasculated and embarrassed Will.

Within the past week, Jada has revealed that she and Will are no longer romantically involved, they live separate lives, and that they refuse to get divorced, as well as many other secrets.

Jada’s tell-all may be to help push her book that is set to come out Tuesday. The fact that she has disclosed a lot already, makes you wonder what else there is in the book.

If that wasn’t a good enough response, Will Smith seemingly responded on Instagram with a caption, “Notifications Off!”

Smith has been largely mild-mannered on Instagram since the 2022 Oscars controversy when he slapped Chris Rock onstage. But the release of “Worthy” has spurred more coverage of the actor’s relationships with Pinkett Smith and Rock.

During her appearance on the “On Purpose with Jay Shetty” podcast, the host read a letter penned by Will Smith, whom Pinkett Smith recently revealed she has been separated from for 7 years.

The clip from the episode, which drops in full on Oct. 16, was shared by the Associated Press on TikTok and YouTube.

“I applaud and honor you. If I had read this book 30 years ago, I definitely would’ve hugged you more,” Shetty said, reading the letter.
