The first duty of a woman is to take care of the home -Ngozi Harry Ngonadi

“I think a lot of the moral rubbish going on these days is because more women are leaving the role of being a homemaker and all that to being bread winners.”

Ngozi Harry Ngonadi, the owner of NHN Couture has called on Nigerian women to go back to their African roles of taking care of the home.

Ngozi admires the strength and resilience of Nigerian women but insists many women are missing it by being bread winners instead of taking care of the home front as they originally should.

Ngozi said:

Women are home makers

“Nigerian women are very hardworking, very resilient and very resourceful. I think we are the most tolerant people on the face of the earth.

But I think that somehow, we are losing it because we are leaving the first point of duty which is not exactly the fault of the woman because times are really difficult but I think a lot of the moral rubbish going on these days is because more women are leaving the role of being a homemaker and all that to being bread winners.

But we do try but we should know how to find a way to balance both. When it comes to being hardworking, being tolerant, being resourceful, Nigerian women are there to serve. I have to raise my hand for Nigerian woman to take a bow.

I think we should go back to our roots as Africans, to know that the first duty of a woman is to take care of the home and let they men play their roles as husbands. If your children are failures, the society will say you have failed as a mother. As much as its not fair but thats always the case.
The home is the most important place that there is to be.
I LOVE YOU ALL MY QUEENS.
IT’S NOT EASY BEEN A WOMAN BUT WE ARE UP TO IT.
LOVE YOU ALL AND YOU ARE THE REAL MVP… COMPLIMENT OF THE SEASON.
I CELEBRATE EVERY QUEEN HERE!”

Do you agree with her?
