If you don’t know your worth, why should other people make you feel worthy?
If you don’t respect yourself and say no to rubbish, why won’t other people dump their insecurities on you?
If you don’t set relationship standards, why won’t a man treat you like a doormat?
If you don’t define what you want in life and relationships, why should other people do that for you?
If you don’t see anything wrong with being disrespected as a woman, why should a man bother about treating you with respect?
If you don’t say no and stick to it, why should opportunists and users pity you and stop demanding more from you?
If you make money and give it to a man to marry you, why will that man not behave anyhow? He didn’t make efforts to marry you, you did.
If you allow other people walk all over you because you want to be called a nice and good woman, why should they bother respecting you?
If you allow people cross their boundaries while relating with you, why do you complain about their disrespectful behavior afterwards?
Dear Nigerian women, this is not the time for you to pursue likeability. This is not the time for you to place low value on yourself because you want to please this hypocritical society.
This is not the time for anything goes or any man that says hello to me is okay. No. Don’t do that. You will end up with a man who thinks he’s doing you a favor by being in your life.
This is not the time to be arguing with a man about how you want to be treated when you can just walk away and replace him with another man who treats you the way you want to be treated.
Woman, place a high value on yourself. Carry yourself with class and poise. Let your worth be so expensive that only a man who can afford it will come into your life.
Stop settling for less. Value yourself. Love yourself. Treat yourself with respect and other people will follow suit.
