You go to church to read, you are not safe. A man feels entitled to your body.
You stay in your house to relax, you are not safe. A visitor can rape you and blame you.
You visit a male friend, you are not safe. If he rapes you, you will be blamed for visiting him.
You visit a female friend, you are not safe. She can plan with her brother who has been asking you out to rape you.
You stay in school and mind your business, you are not safe. Boys who asked you out will punish you with rape for turning them down.
You stay in your family house, you are not safe. Your cousin or uncle can rape you and blame you for seducing them.

23-year-old Uwaila Omozuwa was beaten and raped in her local church in Benin. The animals who took away her innocence and life are on the run.
She’s gone, just like that. A young life cut short because this society breeder animals in men’s bodies.
They smashed her head with a fire extinguisher. They beat her. They raped her. They left her for dead.
She’s dead. She was a young woman who was determined to better her life. She just gained admission into the University of Benin.
May God rest her soul. May her rapists die horrible and painful deaths. May the air, land and sea fight them. May the meet untimely deaths. Evil will never depart from them.
