A Colombian judge has gotten into trouble after being caught smoking in bed during a live virtual court hearing.
The footage of the judge Vivian Polania went viral on social media in no time, and she faced extreme backlash for her behaviour in a critical live virtual meeting.
The judge was attending a hearing of a case related to a car b0mb attack by terrorists.
In the video filmed last week, the 34-year-old judge Vivian Polania, appeared in the meeting donning a top and underwear and was also caught smoking. She was immediately reported for alleged indecency by one of the solicitors.
Later, the Norte de Santander Judicial Disciplinary Commission handed her a 3-month suspension for violating various administrative regulations.
She is not new to controversies, as earlier she dragged herself into trouble over her indecent photographs on Instagram. She can be seen publicizing her brands, for which she gets funds from North America.
This time, she has been suspended for gross professional misconduct by appearing in an unpleasant condition, wearing inner wear, and smoking during a live court meeting. She quickly turned the camera off after being informed about the situation.
Polania, who was known for her racey snaps long before the scandal, spoke out about the now-notorious hearing to deny that she was half-naked.
Vivian Polania added she had to lie down during the hearing because she had had an anxiety attack and suffered low blood pressure.
Speaking to Blu Radio, Polania claimed she was overworked which had caused a decline in her mental health.
She also accused the other judges in Cucuta of bullying her after they threatened her with disciplinary action based on the way she dressed.
However, this is not the first time Polania has faced repercussions for her raunchy outfit choices.
She had been called the “versatile judge” in the past after she posted sexy snaps on Instagram and claimed her good looks earned her promotional offers and discounts from designer clothing companies, prompting a previous investigation into her behaviour.
