Don’t be too hard on yourself for giving your all to the wrong man

Dear woman, don’t be so hard on yourself for giving your all to the wrong man. Stop beating yourself up for that failed relationship.

You loved him. You took care of him. You made compromises for the relationship. You made sacrifices for him. You stood by him. You encouraged him. You spent time with him.

Even if you sacrificed part of your well being to please him and it wasn’t enough, stop crying over him. You don’t have to die for him to show him how much you love him.

Even if you gave everything within your power to make sure you both lived happily ever after and it didn’t work out, stop being so hard with you.

Stop talking down on yourself for loving him too much. He probably doesn’t know what means and couldn’t love you back. Wipe your tears and move on with your life.

You have to be proud of yourself and your honest feelings for him. You have to know that what happened wasn’t your fault. He didn’t know how to reciprocate your love.

You don’t have to blame yourself for someone else’s lack of appreciation and contentment. You shouldn’t close your heart to love either. Love is a beautiful thing.

Don’t be too hard on yourself for giving your all to the wrong man

The wrong man makes you beg for love, attention, affection, and commitment but the right man will give you these things and more because you truly loves you.

What happens when you love the wrong person? If you fall in love with the wrong person, you spend time doing what the other person wants while letting go of your own needs.

This is not healthy for anyone. Women who love the wrong men are always unhappy because they keep trying to cope with men who clearly don’t love them back.

As a Nigerian woman, if you don’t pay attention to yourself and your needs in relationships, you will end up dating the wrong men.

You need to pay attention to yourself and stop making the same mistakes by choosing men who do the barest minimum to keep your relationship going.

Loving the wrong person hurts but you must learn from that experience and promise yourself to do better next time. That promise includes not being the only one giving in your next relationship.

How do you know if you are in love with the wrong person? The signs will be there but you shouldn’t allow love and the need to be in a relationship cloud your judgment.

If you are dating the wrong person, you make excuses or apologize for your partner’s behavior even when they are not sorry for what they did or how they hurt others.

Ladies, love doesn’t hurt but loving the wrong man does. Keep your eyes open.
