I have never seen a woman being praised for breastfeeding her child- Etinosa slams BBNaija’s Gifty Powers for celebrating Davido

Actress Etinosa Idemudia, has slammed Reality TV star, Gifty Powers, who over the weekend, took to her Instagram page to celebrate singer Davido, for attending his son, Ifeanyi’s birthday party.

Gifty in her post said ”No papa beta pass Davido. She praised him for coming through for his children despite his relationships with their mothers.

Gifty Powers wrote:

“No papa beta pass DAVIDO.

Periodtttttt…

No matter what saga it is between him and his relationships, he’s always gonna be there for his kids, come rain come shine… And that, I respect and love him.”

Afterwards, Etinosa took to her Instagram page to slam Gifty. She argued that women are not praised when they breastfeed their babies and see no reason Davido should be praised for attending his own baby’s birthday party.

Etinosa Idemudia said:

“In case those chinko eyes cannot read small font.

If you want to talk to your father and your two different baby daddies talk to them directly but please leave our fathers-my dearly beloved father out of it.

Trying to even use OBO to settle your family problem. Nice try.

Not Nigerian women low-key teaching men to be badly behaved.

A man does what he is supposed to do as a father to his own child and some low self esteem women start singing his praises like he’s done something extra ordinary.

Same way we worship politicians for doing half of what they were actually elected/paid to do.

I have never seen a woman being praised and worshipped for breastfeeding her own child.

If it’s a big deal that a man attended the birthday party of his own son and that has suddenly made him the best father in the world then Omo your childhood rough oh. Sorry.”

I agree with Etinosa Idemudia on this one. Nigerian women should stop praising men for doing the minimum when it comes to their children.

It doesn’t make sense. A father should be present in his child’s life and shouldn’t be praised for doing that.
